Apprenticeship, shaping tomorrow’s strength
To promote the integration of new talents into its companies, EXEL Industries works closely with schools of all levels to offer internships and apprenticeship contracts. Group employees are fully committed to this initiative, providing mentorship and participating in forums, dedicated training sessions, sitting on recruitment and end-of-study panels. This policy has embedded apprenticeship in the Group’s culture, particularly for work-study engineering and tertiary positions, leading to a steady increase in the number of apprentices. EXEL Industries had 127 apprentices in 2023.
Safety first, the Group’s top priority
Each Group company implements safety action plans to minimize workplace risks and aim for zero accidents. Two major initiatives are implemented in all of them: Safety Days and Safety Visits. These are key moments during which each employee is made aware of safety issues, participates in numerous workshops and continues to adopt best practices. In 2023, with contributions from working groups across all its companies, EXEL Industries defined 10 common Golden Safety Rules, which are displayed and adopted at all its sites.
EXEL Academy, our flagship training program
EXEL Industries’ flagship training program, EXEL Academy, aims to train its new managers in motivational leadership aligned with the company’s values. The Academy’s learning approach involves creating a simulated Executive Committee, reflecting the diversity of the Group’s companies and professions. This fosters mutual enrichment through the exchange of diverse perspectives and expertise. Since its inception, the Academy has trained over 1,000 managers, demonstrating the Group’s ongoing commitment to developing managerial skills and promoting a culture of excellence.
Recognized and Sustainable practices
EXEL Industries has been awarded the Best Managed Companies label by Deloitte France for the third consecutive year. As such, the Group is among the 19 French companies recognized with this label for the 2024 edition. First established in France in 2021, the program evaluates companies based on their long-term strategy, talent management, innovation capacity, CSR policy, governance, and financial management. These criteria measure, on the one hand, the differentiating elements of the company and, on the other hand, its capacity to meet current and future challenges.
