Using compost is the one of the key cornerstones of gardening, it enriches soil, retains moisture and reduces the need for chemical fertiliser. However, making compost is often considered to be complex and time consuming, but with the new Hozelock EasyMix 2-in-1 Composter it couldn’t be more straightforward.

The new tumbling composter from Hozelock allows gardeners to easily recycle their kitchen and garden waste, helping to prevent food waste being sent to landfill, whilst also improving the quality of their soil.

Quicker than most conventional composters, the EasyMix 2-in-1 Composter, produces compost in as little as six to eight weeks thanks to the aeration and rotation which helps to accelerate the composting process.

The enclosed lockable lid helps to prevent any pests and unpleasant smells and the design enables users to roll the drum around the garden to distribute compost with ease. The reservoir under the tank also collects the compost liquid and the inclusion of the innovative ‘Click & Spray’ hose applicator allows gardeners to use this natural liquid feed to enrich your plants.

Around 40-50kg of compost will be produced with a 75% full EasyMix composter, which is suitable for a range of garden sizes.

Despite its’ impressive functionality the composter is incredibly compact and it will easily find a place in the garden, garage, balcony or even next to your recycling bins.

The EasyMix 2-in-1 Composter, which is available from February 2022, is manufactured using 90% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable.
