For its 70th anniversary, EXEL Industries brings its main managers to Épernay

After the inauguration of the temporary exhibition of collector’s agricultural machinery at the Épernay Museum of Champagne wine and regional archaeology on October 5, 2022, the EXEL Industries’ 70th anniversary event continued internally. On October 6 and 7, the Group brought together 100 executives and managers from all of its companies for a two-day seminar in Épernay, the Group’s historic birthplace. It was a first for EXEL Industries since the health crisis, and an opportunity to bring together its Top 100 managers to discuss today’s major challenges.

Promoting progress among EXEL Industries companies

For 70 years, EXEL Industries has been building and growing through innovation, internal growth and the integration of a large number of small and medium-sized companies. With a global presence and a clear diversification strategy, the Group now operates on 3 markets (agricultural equipment, industry, and leisure), in 6 activities.

On October 6 and 7, the 100 employees present from across the world were able to exchange ideas, present their businesses and share their latest advances with their peers from different companies and segments within EXEL Industries. The Group’s pooled research center, EXXACT Robotics, presented its TRAXX compact autonomous high-clearance tractor during a demonstration in the vineyard, followed by its precision spraying solution, 3S Spot Spray Sensor®, mounted on the Agrifac Condor spray boom.

Providing responses to today’s challenges

The seminar, which focused on innovation and corporate responsibility, promoted collective work on specific topics related to the Group’s businesses and current challenges. The 100 employees had the chance to participate collectively in round tables and dedicated workshops.

Fresque du climat

The highlight of the two days was the creation of a climate fresk by the Top 100 managers. A genuine catalyst for collective intelligence, this learning workshop allowed the causes and effects of climate change to be shared internally, and sparked a dynamic of change among all EXEL Industries companies.

Our companies and their employees are all aware of the challenges of sustainable development and have long been working to develop innovative and responsible solutions to support their customers in the essential energy transition. We aim to strengthen the Group-wide sharing of a strategy and practical solutions that take into account the specificity and complementarity of our businesses.”

Yves Belegaud, Chief Executive Officer, EXEL Industries.
